My dog was sadly diagnosed with a rare cancer called mucinous adenocarcinoma in his small intestine which prompted me to evaluate everything he was consuming. My dog loves his food, his gut inflammation symptoms are way down and his coat, energy levels and overall quality of life has skyrocketed.
It makes roudning out any recipe for my family pet much easier and I can feed them what they like most. It also is much easier than trying to find and buy compatible nurtients to add myself.
Our beloved 14 year old standard poodle has been using Balance It Canine Plus for roughly two and a half months. During that time, his health has improved dramatically!
Prior to starting on Balance It, we spent more than six months battling a series of GI issues, loss of appetite, significant weight loss and even hair loss.
And even though Barnaby has an indelible doggy spirit, it reached a point where even he seemed to be aware that something was wrong.
Thankfully, within just a few days after starting Balance It, his GI issues slowed, then ceased entirely after four or five days. And as of two and a half months later, they have not returned.
As a result, we've been able to reduce medicine dosages, and even ween him off of some of his meds entirely. He's regained about 7 lbs., his hair loss has stopped, and he's even regrown hair in some areas!

My dog has been loving his custom meal (made with Canine Plus) ever since I switched him to it a few months ago. Because I batch cook, freeze, and then thaw his meals, I prefer to briefly reheat this food to get it to room temp. Canine Plus makes it a breeze.
As a semi-related suggestion, the recipe creator on the website is amazing — but it would be even better if it could standardize recipe quantities to match pre-portioned supplement pack sizes. Just a thought.

I decided to take my dogs health into my own hands after a severe mystery gastrointestinal illness my small dog had. After weeks of making her a rice and boiled chicken diet I couldn't go back to dry kibble for her. My vet recommended Balance It as they also provided complete recipes for optimal nutrition.
For almost a year I have been using their website to make her fresh food from ingredients we use in our own dinners. We have narrowed it down to 4 varied recipes we rotate and it looks good enough for us to eat (minus the fish oil, haha). She has gained the weight lost in her illness, her coat is shiny and soft, and her stools are regular and healthy. Her allergies have been better too.
