Bailey loves his new food. They have a lot of recipes on their site and he gobbles it down. He is almost 16 and seems to be more spunkier. Running and wanting to play.

Our now 13 y.o. Yorkiepoo has been on this (along with a special diet and a fish oil supplement) for 4 years after almost dying from pancreatitis and having abnormal liver and kidney tests. This was prescribed along with the special diet (chicken, rice, sweet potato and hard boiled egg) and fish oil by a pet nutritionist through our vet. He's now a little lame, mostly deaf and sometimes grumpy with bigger dogs, but he's happy and loving and occasionally puppy-like!

My now twelve year old Australian Kelpie was diagnosed with PLN several years ago. (protein losing nephropathy). We had tried medication, and his labs were still dire.
I'm not a fan of prescription diets (and dogs often aren't either), and my vet recommended I try Balance It.
I followed the process of providing a diagnosis, having my vet appprove, and I received a recipe catered to his medical and nutritional needs. This also included the K supplement, to ensure he didn't miss out on any required nutrients.

A few years ago, I had a kidney dog who refused to eat any commercial diet I could find. He rapidly declined which was hard to see. Right after that I started using BalanceIt to cook for my current dog. So when his kidney values became dangerous, I was devastated. I switched to BalanceItK and the proper prescription recipe.
