I have 2 dogs, 1 male about 13 years old and a female about 12 years old. It was a lot of time invested to get them on similar foods to shop for and to work it out to have 2 weeks of food prepared for them as one pot meals. The Balance.It customer service team was helpful, but unless you're willing to go down the proverbial rabbit hole and try a lot of different things, you may want to just go for the simple recipe it kicks out initially and tweak it later. My dogs wouldn't eat the vegetables before Balance.It, now they will eat whatever is in their bowls! They do like it warmed up and I had worried that so much supplement would give it an off taste. Do read through EVERYTHING before trying to make something and ask questions. I used to feed my dogs raw beef, rice and eggs and add supplements that were supposed to be their greens. Turns out they were deficient. You won't know that right away, just after years! So, if you have the bandwidth and care about your animals, this is worth a try. It seems really scary, but if you've got small dogs and a crock pot, you'll be ok. If my dogs were larger, I would not want to do this program. The sheer volume of 2 weeks of food would overtake my freezer and fridge.

In March of 2020, my dog started having trouble eating his normal kibble food, My vet had mentioned Balance it for one of my other dogs for his diabetes. It was during the pandemic and getting in to see a specialist took months, and other foods weren't helping his condition. He was rapidly losing weight. After finally getting into an internal medicine specialist who created a diet on the Balance It website. Three years later and my guy is still here, and doing well. The folks at Balance it are helpful and quick to respond to questions.

We were advised to use Balance it K9 by a vet who specialises in dog nutrition. Our dog was very unwell and unable to tolerate pet food. This product has genuinely been a life saver. We're in the UK so shipping is expensive but it is worth it to see our 12 year old dog happy, healthy and well fed. Cannot recommend BalanceIt highly enough.

Great Product, needed for dogs with IBD. It would be nice if it came in a capsule version because our dog refuses to eat it mixed into his food. So I've been creating capsules for him - time consuming but necessary ;-)

The powder is generally well accepted when slowly added and mixed well with preferred and tolerated food. This system is incredible. My dogs are so healthy. I never want to feed anything else again. I use the supplements with a recipe from the software. I’ve been feeding this for over 10 years to my dogs. My current dogs have been raised on it and never fed anything else. They love their meals. My vet loves their condition.
