Been using Balance It Carnivore supplement, along with other supplements for my cat. I also have her on home cooked food, which she is definitely doing better! Just wish the Balance IT didn’t smell so bad, even kept in the refrigerator. Great support with high Protein.

Vitamins naturally degrade over time and they can give off an aroma that gets stronger as any product, including Balance It® supplements, gets closer to the expiration date. We add vitamin overages to ensure potency until the expiration date. Some amino acids, especially the sulfur based ones like methionine and cyst(e)ine, can also have a natural odor that we do not mask; fortunately, some of these are actually enticing to some dogs and most cats. If desired,one can store the supplement in the freezer if the container is very tightly sealed to prevent any moisture entering. While this won't extend the shelf life, it may reduce the odor.
