We use Balance It Canine Plus 10 Pack for our two sweet Shih-Tzu dogs who are 8 and 12 years old. It seems the extra vitamins and minerals in Balance It help our dogs have more energy and a healthy coat.They are both aging and what we feed them matters. They can be very picky eaters, so we have to change their food menu often but love that we can add Balance it to whatever they eat. We do add psyllium husk to it to add more fiber to their diets. We find the smaller 10 packs allows the powder formulation to minimize oxidation to the whole batch and keeps it fresher longer.

We couldn't find a quality dog food that didn't have fish oil in it, and our working golden retriever was pulling out her fur, she itches so badly. Using algae oil, walnut oil and other human grade ingredients in the recipe provided with balance:s help, our dog is muscular, lean, bright eyes and has a healthy, shiny coat!
Certainly, making our own dog food is a bit of extra work, but now that we have a system, using the balance plus, making large batches and freezing them isn't a big a deal.

I’ve been using this for years and my dogs have been so healthy. I have a 12 and 11 year old small dogs without any health issues. I make their food in big batches and then freeze it.

My dogs really love the food I cook for them now. I used to feed them those fresh meals from farmers dogs, just food for dogs, and Ollie etc. they would either get upset stomach or get tired of it after a short period of time. Since I started cooking for them myself with balance it canine plus, they not only love the food I made, their stools are much healthier too!
