I have a 4 -year-old Standard Poodle. From the minute I got him at 12 weeks of age, it was clear something was up with his digestive system. Lots of food trials, tests and worry followed. Finally, a very competent internal medicine vet uncovered the mystery— he had a condition called “dysbiosis.” Several treatments by the vet plus my taking over cooking his food using a Balance It recipe plus the powdered additive have brought the dog to great health. He gained back weight he lost and is finally at the weight he should be at 4 years of age.

My dog suffered a GI bleed from being on antinflammatory for a CCL tear. We were told to feed him a bland diet. We feed him chicken, brown rice, mixed veggies, yogurt and Balance It. He went through the CCL surgery with flying colors! He has gone from a dog who had to coaxed into eating one meal a day (never fond of dog food and tried many) to scarfing down 2 meals a day! Chase recovered exceptionally well from the surgery and I believe his healthy diet had a lot to do with him getting back to a happy, active dog!
